The Royal Palace: a journey through the history of Spain
The Emir Mohamed I built in Magerit (Madrid), a fortress to defend Toledo of the Christians progress. This building was used for occasional basis by the kings of Castile and became the present Old Fortress. Among the more than 3,000 rooms in the Royal Palace of Madrid highlight the some rooms as the Main Staircase and The Throne Room.
