El Retiro Park
With 125 acres and more than 15,000 trees, El Retiro Park is a green oasis in the center of Madrid. Besides being one of the lungs of the city, it offers culture, leisure and sports for local citizens and visitors. Among its most important architectural and historical elements are: the Great Pond where you can go rowing, Velázquez Palace and the Crystal Palace, both currently used as showrooms.
